18th/19th Century Indian Tulwar with “Kill” Notches to Blade
Indian Tulwar sword – kill notches.
Out of stock
Interesting late-18th/early 19th Century Indian Tulwar sword. With traces of original silvering to the hilt. There are six notches that have been cut into the top of the blade spine – see pics. Likely to be “kill” notches or some kind of gruesome tally, perhaps? Is certainly a battle-worn sword. Plain, slightly curved blade. No scabbard. Blade length is 29.5 inches (33 inches overall).
