Excellent British c.1860’s Volunteer Rifle Officer’s Sword – 1827 Pattern. With steel Gothic hilt and strung bugle in cartouche. All fishskin and twistwire remaining. Blade with original owner’s initials to blade and etched “QUEEN’S WESTMINSTER RIFLES”, coupled with royal crown and cypher and scrolling foliage. Complete with black leather and steel-mounted scabbard. Blade length is 31.5 inches (38 inches overall).
