A rarely found late-19th Century British Army water bottle – with date stamp of 1888 to the outside of the stitched brown leather covering – heavy glass bottle inside – no stopper. Height is 8 inches and the width is 6 inches – 11 inches height including the belt strap. Rare survivor.
