19th Century Naval Officer’s Sword – Double-headed Eagle – For Restoration
19th Century naval sword.
Out of stock
A very unusual 19th Century naval officer’s sword for restoration – currently in parts. Sword hilt is based on the British 1827 Pattern Naval Officer’s Sword but this does not appear to be a British sword, particularly as the hilt cartouche comprises a double-headed eagle and anchor – identification would be appreciated. Wooden grip. Blade with faint traces of anchor motif. Blade length is 38 inches (including tang).
