Good example of a c.1900’s Sudanese Kaskara sword – of smaller proportions and could be for a boy or used as a short sword. With leather a reptile skin hilt. Steel cruciform crossguard. Wide, multi-fullered blade contained in tooled leather scabbard – wear to end. Blade length is 24 inches (29 inches overall).
