A British 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper’s Sword. With ribbed leather grip and maker stamped to Wooley & Co (Birmingham). Also with inspector’s stamp to the polished blade forte – no scabbard. Blade scabbard is 31 inches (36 inches overall).
