British military officer’s sword – c.WW1.
British 1845/54 Pattern military officer’s sword – with royal cypher of King George V to the plated hilt and blade. Blade with extensive etching – complete with steel dress scabbard. Fishskin and silver wire wrap to grip. Is also of a type carried by senior police officers in Britain and the Empire during this period. Blade length is 32.5 inches (38.5 inches overall).
