Original and good condition British 1845 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword with German blade.
Out of stock
Unusual British 19th Century 1845 Pattern British Infantry Officer's Sword with German-made blade. It is rare to see a pattern British Army officer's sword with a non-English made blade at this time but it does appear to be original to the sword. With typical brass Gothic hilt - all fishskin and twistwire remain to the hilt. Etched blade with trophies and martial motifs - made by Holler of Soingen. Good, clean condition. Find a scabbard and you will have a nice piece. Blade length is 33.5 inches (39 inches overall).
