1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword.
Original British 19th Century 1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword. With steel, three-bar hilt retaining original black paint. Chequered leather grips. This example was made by the German contactor, Bleckman, who supplied both to the British Army and to both sides in the American Civil War. This sword has an issue stamp on the blade forte for use in India. No scabbard. Blade length is 35 inches (42 inches overall).
