British Infantry officer’s sword – 1897 Pattern.
Interesting British 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword – with steel hilt displaying royal cypher of King Edward VII (1901-1910) and blade with royal cypher of King George V (1910-1936) – probably re-bladed during WW1. With some age staining to the blade. Complete with leather field service scabbard. Blade length is 32.5 inches (39 inches overall).
