Good example of a late-Victorian British Army 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword. With Winchester retailer’s name to the blade forte – F. W. Flight. Well etched blade featuring royal crown, cypher and scrolling foliage. Fishskin and silver twistwire to the grip. Complete with steel scabbard. Blade length is 32.5 inches (39.5 inches overall).
