Excellent example of a late-Victorian British Army 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword. Made by Mole of Birmingham and with fishskin and silver twistwire to the grip. Steel hilt with royal “VR” cartouche to the hilt. Blade in exceptional condition with etching still crisp and bright. Complete with leather field service scabbard. Blade length is 32 inches (38 inches overall).
