Original British Royal Navy HMS Zest Ship's Plaque. HMS Zest was a Z-class destroyer of the British Royal Navy that saw service during World War II. ZAMBESI or Z-Class Fleet Destroyer ordered from John I Thornycroft at Woolston, Southampton on 12th February 1942 with the 10th Emergency Flotilla. She was laid down on 21st July 1942 as Yard Number 4034 and launched on 14th October 1943 as the first RN warship to carry this name. The build was completed on 20th July 1944. Served in Norway and the Arctic during 1945. Heavy item. Dimensions are 10.5 inches x 8.5 inches.
