C.1690 European Transitional Rapier Sword

An original and scarce c.1690 transitional rapier – with brass, early smallsword type hilt and long Italian or Spanish rapier blade – maker’s name deeply engraved with fuller.  In overall very good condition.  Blade length is 34 inches (41 inches overall).
