C.1800’s British Royal Navy Officer’s Sword

Scarce c.1800’s British Royal Navy Officer’s sword and scabbard.  With gilt-brass stirrup hilt and fouled anchor cartouche to the langets.  Part fishskin and copper twistwire to the grip.  Blade with engraved naval motifs.  Complete with leather and brass-mounted scabbard – missing locket button and chape – some repairs to scabbard.  Blade length is 30 inches (34.5 inches overall).
