C.1800’s Scottish Regimental Bandsword
19th Century Scottish sword.
Out of stock
Unusual 19th Century Scottish military bandsword. Have seen one similar some years ago that was regimentally etched to the blade so assume that this is a sword type that was carried in Scottish regiments of the British Army. It was not an official pattern and probably carried for a short period of time. Comprising a brass mounted grip with crown pommel. Grip is bound with leather and brass twiswire. Plain blade. Complete with leather and brass-mounted scabbard. Blade length is 26 inches (31.5 inches overall).
