Superb example of a mid-19th Century Infantry Officer’s sword – probably German in origin. With brass stirrup hilt with fishskin and brass twistwire to the grip – all complete. Blade is in virtually mint condition, retaining all the original frost etching and polish to the quill point blade. No scabbard. Blade length is 31 inches (37 inches overall).
