Original c.WW1 British NCO Officer’s dress sword – would have been part of the regiment’s inventory and official issue – NCO’s did not have to purchase their own swords, unlike officers. Of typical form and with a pierced bowl guard featuring the royal cypher of King George V ( 1911-1936). Fishskin and twistwire to the grip. Blade is plain. No scabbard. Blade length is 32.5 inches (40 inches overall).
