C.WW1 French M1866 Chassepot Bayonet Fighting Knife

An excellent condition French Model 1866 Chassepot bayonet converted into a fighting knife – probably around WW1 as they are noted during the period.  Spine dated to 1871 – in good bright and clean shape.  No scabbard.  Blade length is 8.5 inches (13.5 inches overall).
