Dated 1837 British Presentation Blue & Gilt Sword

Unique dated 1837 British blue and gilt presentation sword.  With a highly elaborate gilt-brass Knight’s Head pommel and crossguard.  Blade with engraved blue and gilt decoration.  Each side of the blade has an inscription including the family crests of each person.  The inscription reads:

1837

From

W. Brown

1837″

Blade length is 24 inches (31 inches overall).  Worthy of further research.
