Late-18th Century French Rapier Sword
18th Century French rapier.
An interesting late-18th Century rapier sword – probably French – with unusual ram’s-head crossguard finials. Grip is grooved ebony. Ovoid, decorated pommel. Long, double-edged blade with traces of the original engraving. No scabbard. Blade length is 30 inches (36 inches overall).
