Late-19th Century Malay Piso Podong Sword & Scabbard

A rare 19th Century Malay Piso Podong sword – with brass Tulwar-type hilt – blade of 17th Century European origin – many early European sword blades were used on both Malay and Indian swords. Complete with wood and rattan-bound scabbard.  Fine piece. Blade length is 70cms (84cms overall).
