Late-19th Century Ottoman Turkish Cavalry Trooper’s Sword

A late-19th Century Ottoman Turkish cavalry trooper’s sword.  With thick brass D-Guard hilt – leather wrapped grip and curved, single-fullered blade.  No scabbard.  Came across a similar type some years ago that had Turkish markings to the blade so am assuming that this has the same origin – no markings on this example that I can see.  Blade length is 34 inches (37 inches overall).
