Napoleonic Naval Fighting Knife

Napoleonic naval fighting knife – probably French – made from a cut-down sword – the use of stained ebony in the grips is commonly seen on French pieces of this period with British grips tending to be made with ivory or bone.  With brass hilt mounts.  Plain blade.  No scabbard.  Blade length is 12.5 inches (18 inches overall).
