WW1 Named 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword – Frank Lawson
Named WW1 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword.
Interesting named WW1 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword. It is named to Frank Lawson (1915) on the front of the sword hilt – see pics. Worthy of further research as it is probably not a common name. Blade etching is still clear with some corrosion to the end of the blade. Blade length is 32.5 inches (39 inches overall). Complete with leather field service scabbard.
