WW2 British Army Issue Machete – Dated 1944 #1

Excellent example of a WW2 dated British Army issue machete – with riveted grips – blade dated 1944 – American manufacture.  Complete with leather scabbard and frog faintly dated 1942(?).  Leather scabbard painted with “11 PLTN” – 11th Platoon.  Blade length is 15 inches (22.5 inches overall).
