Superb C.1800’s Neo-Classical Knife

An excellent quality c.1800’s Neo-Classical knife.  Of large size and with extensive and finely detailed copper and brass decoration to the hilt and scabbard.  It is also filled with gold plating to the scabbard.  The blade has etched foliage designs with traces of gilt within.  This is a very handsome piece of top manufacturing quality and with a good weight (just under half a kilo).  Blade length is 8 inches (13 inches overall).
