C.1730 English Cut Steel Smallsword

A good example of an 18th Century English cut steel smallsword.  With faceted pommel and knuckleguard.  Grip is wrapped with fishskin.  The blade is decorated with stylised motifs as is of an earlier rapier-type that probably indicates a transitional type.  No scabbard.  Blade length is 27 inches (33.5 inches overall).
