C.1690 English Military Officer’s Sword

A rare example of a sword carried by English military officers at the end of the 17th Century.  With a decorated double-shell guard, wooden grip and ball pommel.  The blade is typically plain and double-edged.  Blade length is 28.5 inches (34.5 inches overall).
