Mid-17th Century, probably Spanish, cavalry broadsword.

A very interesting and substantial mid-17th Century, probably Spanish, cavalry broadsword. With brass hilt featuring a faceted pommel and wide quillon to one side (part of quillon missing to other side). Grip part wrapped in leather. The sword has a very long and impressive, double-edged broadsword with multi fullers. No scabbard. Blade length is 38.5 (43.5 inches overall).
