Interesting mid-18th Century English infantryman’s brass-hilted sword converted into a fighting knife.  Blade stamped with running fox mark for Samuel Harvey of Birmingham.  Looks like the conversion is a contemporary adaptation.  Blade length is 17 inches (21.5 inches overall).
