Rare Gilbert Islands Kiribati Shark Tooth (Tebute) Warrior’s Short Sword

A rare and original Gilbert Islands (Central Pacific Ocean) shark tooth warrior’s short sword – probably from the 1900’s.  Is also known as a Tebute.  The sword is made from seasoned wood from the coconut palm with its cutting edges made from sharks teeth, attached with fibre cords.   In excellent condition.  A valuable piece for collectors of unusual antique edged weapons or those interested in indigenous cultures.
