Rare Mid-18th Century Swiss Infantry Hanger Sword

A rare and original mid-18th Century Swiss infantry hanger sword.  With steel hilt and forward guard.  Grip is wrapped in thick brass twistwire.  The blade is engraved to both sides with a bear motif, the symbol of Bern, Switzerland.  In good condition.  Blade length is 25 inches (30 inches overall).
