Unusual British Boer War Miniature White Metal “Gentleman in Kharki” Plaque Medal

Very unusual miniature white metal plaque or medal entitled  “A GENTLEMAN IN KHARKI” AND “TRANSVAAL WAR”.  To the reverse is the Rudyard Kipling poem, “The Absent minded Beggar” in minute lettering – still clear and crisp.  Not sure where this is from and how it would have been displayed but have never seen a similar one before.  Central hole drilled to top and bottom.  Dimensions are 2 inches x 1.4 inches.
