A superb and original C.1800 Antique Sri-Lankan Pia Ketta Dagger and Scabbard
This is a rare C.1800 antique Sri-Lankan Pia Ketta dagger and scabbard that is extensively decorated with heavily inlaid silver and brass. These daggers are invariably of extremely high quality and it is very rare to find one that comes complete with its original carved wooden scabbard – this is the first one that I have ever come across. The grip appears to be made from intricately carved ebony or hardwood.

In good overall condition for its age – wear to the blade.
