Original c.1800’s Indo-Persian/Indian warrior’s dhal war shield
Made from a very heavy gauge of brass and with applied decoration of stars and prominent bosses. Would have been a very effective parrying weapon.

In good overall condition and with some dents (probably battle damage) and period/later repairs
