C.1900’s Scottish Silver Highland Dress Skean Dhu Knife
A good example of a c.1900’s Scottish Silver Highland Dress Skean Dhu Knife. Of larger proportions than normal. With carved wooden hilt and engraved silver mounts. Agate inset into pommel. The blade is plain and polished. Stamped Sterling Silver and maker marked to W H L. Complete with original leather and silver mounted scabbard with fine detail.
Condition of the Skean Dhu
In good overall condition – some wear to back of scabbard and minor pitting to blade.

Blade length is 4.5 inches (8.5 inches overall).
