Original and excellent Imperial German Model 1895 Enlisted Man’s Pickelhaube.  With grey metal fittings and state cockades and leather chinstrap (replacements).  With date stamp of 1917 inside the liner and a size 55.

Original liner remains to this Prussian Pickelhaube

An excellent WW1 Imperial German Prussian Infantry Regiment Enlisted Man’s Pickelhaube.  With brass and white metal helmet fittings.  With state cockades and chinstraps (probably replacements).  Original leather liner still remaining.  Great piece.  Small size.

These regimental German WW1 pickehaubes are quite rare and few have survived in this condition – a good addition to a collector of Imperial German headgear.

Military history book – With the Flag to Pretoria 1900

A famous British military history book published at the time of the Boer War by Harmsworth Brothers; 1st edition (1900).  In two volumes and with numerous maps, illustrations and photographs.  Excellent reference book for those interested in both the British Army and the Boer War.  Both books of substantial size and weight – approximately 360 pages each volume.

Excellent example of a WW2 British Army Officer’s Military Compass

This is an original and fine British Army issue officer’s military compass with heavy brass case and complete with its correct webbing case.  Compass is dated to 1943 on the back and the webbing case is dated to 1944.

This is a fine example of a 19th Century jambiya dagger of Wahabite type.  With extensive silver and wooden mounts to the hilt and scabbard.  It is also set with semi-precious stones.  Blade of distinctive curved form.

A fine quality and original antique Burmese 19th Century Silver Mounted Dha Sword.  This sword has a long ivory grip and decorative silver mounts to the hilt.  The plain, slightly curved blade is flat-backed and double-edged towards the end of the blade.

Complete with original silver and wood mounted scabbard

This fine sword comes complete with its original hardwood and silver mounted scabbard that repeat the decorative elements found on the grip.  The sword is in excellent condition with very little wear – age crack to the ivory grip – very common in the swords of this age.  Blade length is 10.5 inches (17.5 inches overall).

A good example of an African Masai Warrior’s Dagger and Scabbard.  With long, triangular-shaped blade.  The blade is double-edged and with incised lines to either side.  The grip is made from wood, bound with leather and having tooled decoration.  It is likely to date from the 20th Century and this style of dagger is still carried by Masai warriors in African today.

The scabbard is decorated and tooled.  Some wear to the blade.  Blade length is 9.5 inches (14 inches overall).

An original C.WW1 Ottoman Turkish Army Officer’s Sword.  Seldom seen Ottoman Turkish army officer’s sword with brass mounted hilt inset with Ottoman crescent and star.  Ribbed grip is covered with leather and bound with brass twistwire.  Etched blade with crescent moon and star motif and military decoration including stands of arms.

Maker/retailer marked to Constantinople company to blade edge but is likely that this sword was manufactured in Germany.  No scabbard.  In good overall condition.  Blade length is 28 inches (33.5 inches overall).

Maker/retailer marked to Constantinople company to blade edge although most of these swords were actually made in Solingen, Germany, Turkey’s ally during WW1.  No scabbard.  Hilt knucklebow of peculiar profile – looks like it has been deliberately re-shaped.  Blade length is 28 inches (33.5 inches overall).

A scarce example of a British Army WW1 Military Issue Machete and Scabbard.  This is an original British Army issue military machete which is maker marked to the blade forte – Sheffield maker.

It is also dated to 1918 and with a Broad Arrow (Board of Ordnance) stamp.  Grip is made with leather and secured with copper rivets.  Comes complete with a leather scabbard.  With appropriate service wear to the blade – these military machetes were roughly used and kept in service for many years.  Blade length is 14 inches (19 inches overall).

An excellent and original Model 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet marked to the Australian Lithgow factory.  Dated to 1918 on the bayonet forte.  Very good wooden grips and all original blueing remaining to hilt, blade and scabbard.  Hard to find a better example.

A good example of a French Model 1874 Gras Sword Bayonet marked to the Austrian manufacturer Steyr on the blade spine.  It is also dated to 1878.  Wooden and brass grip in good condition.

A good British Model 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet Marked to the Royal Air Force

A very fine example of a British Model 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet that was originally issued in 1910 and re-issued in 1925.  It is stamped to the pommel –  RAF –  a mark rarely encountered.
