A scarce French Late-19th Century Cavalry Officer's Sword
This is a scarce late-19th Century French cavalry trooper's sword with brass, multi-bar hilt and ribbed horn grip. The pommel is engraved with the owner's personal coat of arms. The blade is plain and has inspector's stamps to the forte and it is maker marked to Klingenthal.
Condition of the Sword
In good overall condition - blade with some loss of nickel plating.
Specifications of the Sword
Blade length is 35 inches (42 inches overall).
