Rare Imperial German late-WW1 Ersatz Bayonet
A rare WW1 Imperial German Ersatz Bayonet with steel, green-painted hilt and scabbard. Inspector marked to blade spine. These bayonets were an economy measure by the German Army and introduced towards the end of the war. It is unusual to find an example complete with its original scabbard and leather frog.
Condition of the Bayonet
In good overall condition and most original paint remaining.

Blade length is 12 inches (17 inches overall).
