An original example of an Indian Islamic Persian 19th Century Mughal Dagger. This probably dates from the early 1800's and comprises a curved horn grip that is mounted with silver decoration to the ferrule and hilt securing pins. The blade is plain and curved and of thick dimensions that would have enabled it to pierce chainmail and armour.
Good overall condition
The overall condition is good for its age - some of the horn has been lost to one side of the pommel.
