A highly unusual and scarce c.1800’s Indo-Persian Dagger
The heavy hilt is made from solid brass and features a monster/dragon head. The curved blade is reinforced at the end for armour piercing. Have never seen this kind of pommel on an Indo-Persian edged weapon – unusual piece.
Condition of the Dagger
With good age patina to the hilt – one quillon missing to crossguard.
Specifications of the Dagger
Blade length is 7.5 inches (11.5 inches overall).
