Of typical regulation military form and with a steel an incised, wooden gripped hilt. The plain, heavy blade has matching issue numbers to the forte and the scabbard drag. These Imperial Japanese cavalry troopers’ swords are becoming increasingly difficult to source and there are many later Chinese military issue/copies in the market.
Condition of the Sword
In good condition and with a very clean blade – service wear to the hilt.
Specifications of the Sword
Blade length is 30.5 inches (36 inches overall).
