A scarce American/European C.1780 Naval Cutlass

Comprises a simple iron hilt with copper ferrule to the grip that is made from ribbed wood. Wide, slightly curved blade. For similar examples of these early cutlasses, please see Swords and Blades of the American Revolution by George Neumann.
Condition of the Cutlass

Specifications of the Cutlass
Blade length is 25 inches (30 inches overall).
