A Scarce British Indian Army 1908 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword

Here is an unusual and scarce British Indian Army issue 1908 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword.  This sword was issued to Indian Army cavalry troopers and has a smaller than usual grip.  Grip appears to be made from a synthetic material – probably an early form of plastic.  With steel bowl guard and plain, unmarked blade.  Complete with original steel and leather mounted scabbard.  Blade in excellent shape.

Condition of the Sword

With minor service wear – blade in excellent shape.

Specifications of the Sword

Blade length is 34 inches (40 inches overall).
