This Gurkha 19th Century Silver Mounted Kukri is of exceptional quality and comprises an ivory grip with brass pommel. The blade is also of high quality manufacture and well tempered. The scabbard has elaborate and finely pieced solid silver decoration to both the locket and chape. It is also covered in crimson velvet and backed with brown leather. A stunning piece.
Condition of the Kukri
Blade with some pitting in places – some wear to leather on scabbard – all consistent with its age.
