Excellent 19th Century Two-handed Broadsword

A very good example of 19th Century Broadsword - most likely made for display in a large baronial house and of good quality.  With a wrought iron hilt comprising two guard rings and long quillons.  There are also two downward curving quillons.  It also has a large rounded pommel surmounted with a prominent tang button.  The long wooden grip is wrapped in leather.  The blade is plain with a rounded tip.  The broadsword comes complete with a leather and iron mounted scabbard.  This impressive and large sword would make a great display piece.

Condition of the Broadsword

In very good condition with a nice age patina to the metal parts.  A few light nicks to the blade.

Specifications of the Broadsword

Blade length is 36 inches (46 inches overall).
