Scarce example of a British 1821 Pattern NCO's Sword - 19th Century
A rare British 1821 Pattern NCO's sword with steel, three-bar hilt and plain blade. As this an 1821 Pattern it is likely that this was carried by a mounted NCO. The blade forte is stamped with a British military sword inspector's mark. The sword is complete with its original steel and leather mounted scabbard.
Condition of the Sword
In good condition with clean blade. Twistwire missing from grip.
Specifications of the Sword
Blade length is 32 inches (38 inches overall).
