A good and complete British Army WW2 Military Machete and Scabbard. This example is dated to 1941 and has a number of impressed marks to the composite riveted grip. The marks include Broad Arrow mark and date of 1941. The blade is deeply stamped with the maker's mark of Joseph Beal and Sons of Sheffield, England. The blade is double-edged and swollen towards the end.
Canadian maker's mark to the scabbard
The machete comes complete with a stitched leather scabbard which is stamped with a maker's mark for a Toronto, Canada manufacturer. Blade length is 15 inches (20 inches overall).
