A rare and seldom seen c.1900 Persian Infantry Officer’s Sword
The hilt style of this sword is very much influenced by contemporary Imperial Russian officers’ swords and comprises a brass hilt with royal Persian crown to pommel. The grip is made from horn and wrapped in brass twistwire. The blade is plain and with a very pronounced, tapering point. It comes complete with its original brass and leather mounted scabbard.

In good overall condition – some light pitting to blade edges.

Blade length is 23 inches (28.5 inches overall).
