Prussian Model 1871 NCO’s Dress Bayonet with Etched and Named Blade
A scarce and unique Prussian Model 1871 Dress Bayonet. Hilt of typical brass form and numbered 40.1.11 to the crossguard. Blade etched for most of its length with Prussian state arms, panoplies of arms, scrolling foliage and the owner’s name – August Dorseln – worthy of further research. Complete with original brass and leather scabbard.
